The Quokka: Hayati's refillable line

The Hayati Quokka is the most genuinely different thing to arrive in this catalogue, because it is not a prefilled pod device. Why you would choose a refillable

They are unusual in two ways. The 30000 puff rating is the highest in the catalogue, against 25000 for everything else in the range on the same 22ml of liquid. And the nicotine strength is 5mg rather than 20mg — a quarter of the strength of every other Pro Ultra Plus listing. Those two facts are connected: at a lower nicotine concentration a device can be rated for more puffs before the liquid is exhausted, because the puff rating is a function of liquid consumption rather than nicotine delivery.

Practically, this is the listing to look at if you want a long-running device at a low strength. Three things fall out of that table. The Rubik is the cheapest liquid per millilitre in the catalogue. Never open, puncture or attempt to refill a sealed prefilled pod. They are not designed for it, and forcing liquid through the mouthpiece floods the chamber and destroys the pod.

One thing worth saying plainly, because it is often glossed over: moving to a lower strength does not automatically mean taking in less nicotine. People compensate by vaping more. Recycling: devices, pods, bottles and pouches

Any Hayati device with a battery — Mini Ultra, Rubik, Pro Max Plus, Pro Ultra Plus or Quokka — contains a lithium cell and is classified as waste electrical and electronic equipment under the WEEE Regulations. It must not go in your household bin or kerbside recycling, where damaged cells present a genuine fire risk to collection crews and sorting facilities.

• Retail take-back: larger electrical retailers must accept equivalent waste electricals, and many supermarkets have a battery and vape collection point near the entrance.
• Household waste recycling centres: every local authority site takes small WEEE and batteries free of charge.
• Dedicated vape bins: increasingly common in vape shops and shopping centres.

Used prefilled pods are not batteries and go in general waste unless your local authority says otherwise, ideally drained first. Empty e-liquid bottles are usually recyclable plastic — rinse them and check your council's guidance. Nicotine pouch tins are typically plastic and recyclable; used pouches are not. Cardboard packaging recycles as normal. A damaged or swollen battery should never be posted or binned: take it to a household waste recycling centre and tell the staff what it is.

What is the difference between the Quokka and the prefilled ranges?

Why is the Quokka 2ml when a Pro Ultra Plus is 22ml?

Because they comply with UK rules differently. A refillable pod you fill yourself is capped at 2ml of nicotine-containing liquid. A sealed factory-filled system splits its liquid between a 2ml chamber you draw from and a sealed reserve that tops it up automatically, which is how a compliant device carries a 22ml total figure.

Are there any Hayati pods below 20mg nicotine?

Yes, but only in the Pro Max Plus range. It carries 10mg and zero-nicotine kits at £7.99, and 10mg, 5mg and zero-nicotine pods at £5.49 — the same prices as the 20mg versions. The Pro Ultra Plus Shisha 30000 is also 5mg. Everything else in the prefilled catalogue is 20mg.

Can I use pods from one Hayati range on another range's battery?

No. Each range uses its own pod format and connection, so Mini Ultra, Rubik, Pro Max Plus and Pro Ultra Plus pods all fit only their own batteries. Check which range your device came from before ordering replacements. The Quokka uses its own refillable pods, which are different again.

What is the difference between the 50/50 and 70/30 shortfills?

The VG:PG ratio. A 50:50 blend is thinner, wicks easily into small pod coils and carries flavour crisply. A 70:30 blend is thicker and produces more vapour, suiting larger sub-ohm coils. Both are 120ml at 0mg and £6.99. Match the liquid to your hardware: 70:30 in a small pod coil tends to starve the wick.

How much does delivery cost?

UK delivery is free on orders over £20; below that a standard charge applies at checkout. We ship tracked 24 and tracked 48 with tracking emailed once your parcel is collected. Orders placed before the daily cut-off normally go out the same working day, and weekend orders are dispatched on the next working day.

How does age verification work?
